Drink if you Dare

In the 3rd floor breakroom at my office, there lies a container with the precious elixir that decides the fate for the rest of the day. But this high-octane potion comes at a bit of a price. Everyday, a post-it note is placed on the side of the thermos as a warning before you drink. I like to think that the fairies or gnomes that brew the early morning pot get a kick out of leaving little notes for the humans who find it later. Here is what I found one morning.

Now this is a little scary. Because as I sat in my office dreaming of drinking a piping hot cup of coffee, it was my own selfish desire that got me out of my chair, away from phone and computer, away from the things which I get paid for, and brought me into the breakroom. What were the Smirfs trying to say? Should I not be there? Am I really selfish for wanting the free coffee that sits upstairs? What is a scoffer, don't they have vaccine for that??? Either way, I really enjoy these little notes left for us by the magical creatures who brew the morning coffee.

think about it :: think deep, dark, decaf thoughts ... grind out your thoughts ... i think you're bean to hard on yourself ... sit back and filter your fluids ... add some sugar to your day and maybe it will equal everything out. you'll figure it out spooner'r later.
